When I first started meeting with Carey and Andrea, I was a single mom of four who had just lost my job and was overwhelmed financially. Through budgeting and learning God’s principles about money, He began to change my heart — especially about my car, which I couldn’t really afford.
I prayed and told God I was willing to let it go if that’s what He wanted. Not long after, I was offered an older car that had been donated to the ministry. It felt like a direct answer to prayer. I was able to sell my newer car and get out of the loan.
That car carried me through a really hard season, and it reminded me daily that God sees me and provides. A year later, after getting married, my husband and I were able to buy a car together — and we donated that same car so it could bless someone else.
God used my finances to grow my faith, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
