Carey and Andrea Northington with One Master Ministries has been a HUGE blessing and gift to us these past 4 months. It would not be an understatement to say that their help and patient instruction in how to use the budgeting app and program has enabled my husband and me to communicate about money better than we ever have in 28 years of marriage. We are experiencing a new sense of partnership, accountability, and integrity before the Lord and our ministry partners in how we are stewarding what has been entrusted to us.
It was so helpful for both of us to meet with both Carey and Andrea because the group and couple dynamic was so positive and complementary. We have learned how to “give each dollar a job” and actually have fun doing it!
Our financial conversations in the past were not fun. We tried, but fear and insecurity inevitably would creep in for me and that would leave my husband feeling distrusted. We now have a framework to use that has helps us plan and pray through our finances more specifically. There is freedom and joy in spending what has been planned for and a structure from which to plan for lean months.
